The DWC2440 comes in three versions - a benchtop model, a standalone unit with a vacuum, and then a 4-Axis standalone unit for rotary carving.

The DWC2440 is designed to be intuitive and easy-to-use, so whether you're familiar with CNCs or not, you can master it quickly.
Although primarily designed for carving wood, the DWC2440 can also machine plastics and composite materials.
You can even etch marble, glass and soft metals!
Motion is powered by:
Gear tooth timing belts on the X and Y axes for fast, accurate motion
Z-axis lead screw for vertical precision
Max travel speed of 250 in/min, with cutting speeds up to 125 in/min
Resolution of 0.001”, repeatability of 0.005”
Strong, self-lubricating linear ball bearings on hardened chrome rods
You’ll also get:
Real-time carve status and motion tracking via the included DWC Omni Control + PlanetCNC TNG controller software
CONSTRUCTION
The X and Y movement used a precise gear tooth timing belt for accuracy, speed and smooth motion.
These axes are able to move at over 250 inches per minute in rapid movement, and still achieve smooth speeds when cutting.
Made in central Indiana, this tough and versatile CNC will help you produce many masterpieces for fun and for business!
